J GRGRY : Rocktographers Sessions

Ever since Rocktographers first chatted with J GRGRY backstage at Lucky Bar during the 2017 edition of Rifflandia Music Festival, we’ve been plotting and scheming a way to book him for a Rocktographers Session. Turns out all we had to do was ask.

On a unseasonably warm March afternoon, the Rocktographers team piled into Studio Robazzo with our new friends David and Noel from Quadratic Sound to set up for our much anticipated session. Soon after J GRGRY and his crew arrived, the room was a flurry of make-up, costume changes and laughter.

J GRGRY, now based in LA, took a break from his jam packed Pacific Northwest tour to play a few songs for us. Debuting two brand spanking new songs from a yet to be announced album hopefully due out by early 2020 as well as “Eflower” off the album Gold Teeth + Glass Eyes.

Rocktographers is pleased to share this long overdue session with our dear friend, Joe Gregory. It just so happens to coincide with the release of his single, “Haunted Horses”.
