If you ask any concert photographer in Canada who their favourite musician to take pictures of is . . . most of them would probably say Halifax’s Rich Aucoin.
This high-energy performer gives everything to his audience when he performs live. Very literally, blood, sweat, confetti, and more. His shows are spectacle that leaves fans energized and ready to take on the world with new-found positivity.
We here at Rocktographers aren’t ashamed of our love of Rich Aucoin. Photographs of his performances have ended up in nearly every one of our Rocktographers Showcases. In fact, we’ve gone so far as having an entire feature wall dedicated to the man.
Once again the Rocktographers team, our pal David from Quadratic Sound and a handful of adoring Rich fans filled Studio Robazzo. After a long drive from a gig in Nanaimo the night before, Rich Aucoin lugged in his Tickle Trunk full of goodies that included lights, projectors, confetti canons, and a huge parachute.
Rich Aucoin traded in his confetti cannons and parachute for a more intimate performance with Rocktographers. Choosing to play The Middle and The Time; a pair of anthemic tunes from his 2019 album, Release.
Rocktographers Sessions: local artists, intimate spaces, raw live performances, all captured through the lenses of passionate Rocktographers.
