The Sheepdogs at Sugar Nightclub

The Sheepdogs returned to Victoria for a beyond sold out show at Sugar Nightclub. It was possibly the rowdiest nights we’ve ever seen at a club show in years. Crowdsurfing, sticky beer soaked floors, and a crowd passionately rocking out to Saskatchewanian wunderkins, The Sheepdogs.

Kicking off the night was Montreal’s Beat Cops. Another supergroup made up of now defunct Canadian alternative acts Priestess and The Stills. It was almost impossible to get a shot of the hard rocking guitarists face with his high flying long hair. To put it simply their set was epic.

When The Sheepdogs took the stage there was a collective roar from a crowd made of prairie ex-pats in need of some homegrown rock and roll. The night was hands down one of the best sounding and well lit shows in recent history at Sugar Nightclub. We already can’t wait for The Sheepdogs to come back to Victoria.
