Those good ol’ boys from Texas returned to Victoria for another sold out show at the Save-On-Foods Memorial Centre.
Last here in 2014, ZZ Top‘s show this time around was decidedly more tribal than motorcycle gang, if the decor on Frank Beard’s drumset was anything to go by.
Also, those pink-and-green amps. Amazing.
Were I a betting man, I’d bet that much of the same crowd who were here two years ago made the return trip. Despite the relatively small amount of time between shows, the audience was fully on board with Dusty and Billy’s performance, swagger, and straight-ahead rock ‘n roll.
