Last weekend Rogers Hometown Hockey rolled into town and set up shop at Victoria’s Ship Point; a scenic alcove of the inner harbour that makes Victoria look prettier on television.
While we didn’t see Canadian television legend Ron MacLean (despite trying), we did get to see a some hometown bands play a couple sets on Saturday and Sunday.
Sam Weber and his band graced the stage on Saturday, February 27th, for two headlining sets; Sam Weber proudly decked out with a NY Rangers hat. On Sunday, February 28th, Towers and Trees upped the ante with drummer Jesse Boland appearing in a custom Maple Leafs jersey.
Rogers Hometown Hockey rolls on from coast to coast this hockey season. Make sure to catch it in your town.
