Sam Weber : Rocktographers Sessions

Sam Weber, an accomplished guitarist and singer/songwriter out of Victoria released his most recent full-length album, Valentina Nevada, in May 2016. It’s an album which  comes from weary, lovesick, and heartbroken days spent on the road, something Sam and his full-time band know well after spending the better part of the last two years on the road.

In May 2016, Sam Weber was featured as The Zone’s Band of The Month with the first single Anybodys’ gaining substantial traction and airplay. The official music video for the song featured ’90s Canadian television royalty Hal Johnson and Joanne McLeod from Body Break in a gritty search for Hal’s moustache.

Sam Weber and his loyal band — consisting of Esme John (bass), Hugh Mackie (keys), and Marshall Wildman (drums) — debuted two tracks off Valentina Nevada (Anybodys’ and I Wander Around in the Dark) in a jam space above a woodworking shop in Victoria, BC.

Rocktographers Sessions: local artists, intimate spaces, raw live performances, all captured through the lenses of passionate Rocktographers.
