Victoria-based duo and collective, Cold Fame release their debut single tuesday. featuring former The Zone Band of the Month, Xana.
Both Damian Anthony and Cody Dalman have been long time fixtures in the Victoria music community and in midst of a pandemic formed Cold Fame. Their intention to create a foundation for their shared creative expression in the form of collaborative writing and producing music.
Cold Fame’s debut single, tuesday. is refreshing lush, with layers of ambient beats and delicate sounds. Despite their band name they’ve created a song is full of warmth.
Xana, with her Midasian touch weaves gold with this track. Her voice and ever relatable lyrics like “If you are going to hurt me make it worthy” and “I know that you wanna come home but you can’t go and burn down the one that my mother’s grown” leave you full of contemplation and reflection on heartbreaks past.

tuesday. is the first of four collaborative singles that will eventually make up Cold Fame’s debut EP, “The Collective” due out at some point in 2022.
“Tuesday. is about loving someone and wanting to put all their pieces back together but recognizing that they have to be the one to fight their own battles – whether they choose to or not. It can be so hard to watch someone you care about struggle, but it’s important to keep your boundaries and not let them take you down with them. That’s easier said than done at times. This song is from that person’s perspective throughout the relationship and reluctantly removing themselves from a toxic situation for the sake of their own well-being.Ultimately, this song is about choosing yourself.”
