Day Two of Phillips Backyard Weekender

USS used iodine to chase all the clouds away.

Well…not really, but another day of music kept the rainclouds away from the Phillips Backyard Weekender’s second day. Today’s crowd was noticeably more dancey, upbeat, and ready to party with the sounds of BadBadNotGood and Australian rappers Bliss n Eso.

Victoria’s favourite band, USS wrapped the evening with their usual energetic selves flying about the stage and crowd, eventually slowing it down to present The Zone @ 91-3’s Jon Williams with a plaque commemorating the sale of 40,000 units of “This is the Best.”

As another day winds down, new excitement for the third and final day of The Weekender approaches with Dan Mangan as the headliner.
